The Trust’s successful fundraising efforts have provided 2 defibrillators for Oakworth Village, these have been installed and registered now.

One on the outside of Holden Hall in the centre of the village and the other on the outside of the Golden Fleece pub at the west end of the village.

In an emergency the ambulance service decides if a defibrillator is needed and directs people to the nearest available. The defibrillator can be used with no training, the machine analyses someone’s heart rhythm and then uses visual or voice prompts to guide you through each step.

The first defib fitted on the outside of Holden Hall with trustees Martin van der Boon, Ashley Payne, Ruth Payne, Luke Ferrey, Andrea Astin and Robert Payne.

The second defib on the outside of the Golden Fleece pub.
