Oakworth Village Show – Sunday 21st July. After re-establishing the Oakworth Village Show in 2018 it is back this year bigger and better. We still have categories for everyone but have added some new ones including three under the banner
Get ready for a festive race night, this is a fundraising event for the Trust to help keep our village hall running. Come along and meet our racing reindeer, saddle up and race them to victory. Take on the challenge
The Oakworth Community Trust has been leading the way in community engagement over the last few weeks. We were delighted to have provided burgers at both the most recent Great Get Together and the Oakworth Gala, helping in our mission
Now that summer is on the way we plan to brighten up the exterior of the hall with planters, hanging baskets etc… We will have 10 baskets and 4 planters and are asking local businesses or individuals to sponsor these
There will be a Race Night at the Village Hall but, as we are celebrating the Tour de Yorkshire coming through our village again this year, there will be no horses, but bicycles! The event will be on 4th May
On Saturday 26th January join us at Oakworth Village Hall for an Old Skool Disco featuring music from the 60’s to the 90’s, dance to the soundtrack from your schooldays. Tickets are just £5 and are available in the shop.
We are holding another volunteer day to tick off some more of the outside jobs (though there will be a few indoor ones too). These include: – Outside windows, wire brush and undercoat. – Mark out car park. – Paint
The Trust are re-invigorating the Oakworth Village show, to be held on Sunday 22nd July at the village hall. There are 28 categories across horticulture, handicraft and baking for you to enter. Some categories are for children of varying ages
Following on from the success of last years event the Trust will host a Great Get Together on the Oakworth School playing field on Sunday 24th June, this is a fun family event with the aim of bringing communities together.
